When it comes to the BMW F87 M2 platform, finding the perfect balance between track durability, aggressive stance, and precise fender clearance requires a proven approach.

Designed by RAYS Engineering specifically to handle high-horsepower torque loads and extreme lateral force, the ZE40 is widely regarded as one of the strongest forged wheels in the Volk Racing catalog.

Finished in Diamond Dark Gunmetal (MM), the deep charcoal metallic tone pairs seamlessly with BMW's Mineral Grey paintwork, creating a dark, cohesive OEM+ aesthetic with zero compromises.

Running 19x9.5 +22 in the front and 19x10.5 +35 in the rear provides the definitive aggressive fitment for the F87 chassis. This setup pushes the wheels flush with the factory arches, filling out the wide rear quarter panels without requiring aggressive fender rolling or compromising inner strut clearance.

The ZE40 features an overhang spoke design and reinforced barrel ribs developed specifically for heavy braking performance and high-downforce applications. The 19-inch architecture offers generous clearance for both factory BMW M-Sport brakes and aftermarket Big Brake Kits, allowing optimal heat dissipation during hard track sessions.

To transfer the M2’s twin-scroll turbo torque to the pavement, we fitted a staggered set of Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD09s (265/35/19 Front and 275/35/19 Rear). Featuring an ultra-rigid casing design and an asymmetric tread pattern, the AD09 delivers razor-sharp steering response, immense dry cornering grip, and consistent lap times under heavy thermal loads.

RAYS’ Diamond Dark Gunmetal (MM) finish utilizes a multi-coat painting process that shifts dynamically depending on light conditions. Under direct sunlight, fine metallic micro-flakes pop against the wheel face; under shadow, it settles into a deep, aggressive gunmetal that highlights the structural machining around the center bore and rim flange.
